I put on a Jardine exhaust today and I am very pleased.
The jardine is a little louder than I like for riding
around town but out on the road it sounds GREAT.
It gave the LS a very noticeable HP gain.
Before 85 MPH was all it would do 90MPH ifyou were laying down
and pushing it, But now 90 MPH is no problem at all.
I have not tried to top it out yet but i think it will do 95 MPH
with ease. It has not backfired once YET.
I thought the stock muffler was chokeing it down,
it sure was.
Now between 50 MPH and 90 MPH very strong and quick.
I wanted a supertrapp but what I read in this forum
you have to modify something muffler or pipe.
I called dennis kirk and they said the supertrap
would be in in 14 days but they had the Jardine and for $50 bucks less.
If you want a tuneable exhaust Get a supertrapp,
but if you want to save $50.00 get a Jardine.
Well so far no cops have protested but there are many Harleys around here that are louder.
I will put a couple hundred miles on it and report back.
